Practical Panic and Samosa Therapy

Day 7& 8  11 January 2025 01:49 a.m. Welcome back, folks, to Blog 8! January 10 was the kind of day that makes you question everything—starting with why you even bother waking up. Accountancy test, buying a school dress, getting it fitted, coaching sessions—it all felt like a thousand tasks converging into a single nightmare. Somewhere amidst the chaos, my desire to blog just… died. But here I am, alive and typing, because the only regular reader of my blog made it a point to ask, "Rudraksh, next blog when?" That was Avni, by the way, catching me in the computer lab as I prepped for my accountancy viva. Half-dead, clutching my short notes (a mammoth 300+ pages of "short"), I could only mumble, "Tomorrow, tomorrow," to which she smiled—a small mercy on a very messed-up morning. The day started with me waking up horribly late, already buried under the weight of Partnership Accounts, Company Accounting, and, my personal nemesis, Financial Statement Analys...

"Lost and Found: The Story Within the Pages".

Thursday, 9 January 2025 01:37 AM Today started at 9 AM, and by 3:40 PM, I’d already conquered three chapters of Partnership. It felt like my most productive study session this week. Later, after coaching, I finally sat down to bind all my accounts notes—a small victory, but one that gave me a strange sense of order amidst the chaos of studies. But the real highlight of the day came from a question my old friend asked on a call: “Why are you writing all this down?” I paused, then replied: "Every day we wake up is the start of a new story. Think about it: someone, somewhere, might be living their last day, wishing for just one more moment of life—maybe even something as simple as a final sip of coffee that I enjoy in the mornings. Every unclear task, every little moment we experience, might seem meaningless to us, but it could have been someone else’s dream.  That’s why I WRITE.  To capture these stories, these acts, this unplanned sequence of life. Every person I meet, every c...

"Between Deadlines and Daydreams: My 8th January Saga".

8 January 2025 12:16 AM The day started with Papa yelling, "Get up! It’s already 11:30 AM!" I somehow summoned all my energy, turned to my right, and pressed the power button on my phone. The screen flashed “11:34” and “connect the charger.” I had to confirm the time because, sometimes, it’s just one of their tricks to wake me up. Already tired, I dragged myself out of bed, my eyes red and dry from the late-night studies. Blurry visions in shades of red and black filled my sight as I rubbed my eyes aggressively. I thought, I HAVE TO GO. Took a shower, got ready, and stuffed myself with brunch while Maa was making hot methi ke parathe. I rushed, already late by 15 solid minutes for my English practical. On the way to school, I saw six little puppies trailing their mother near the base of the bridge. I wanted to stop and say hi but didn’t even have time to breathe. When I parked my bike, I saw Hardik Bhai waving at me, “Aksh! The answers for the city paragraph are A, E, F, B, D...

"The nights call me to be near"

Day 3 Tuesday 7 January 2025 9:55 pm Hi! The third blog is here, and it was… well, a day. Started with me getting late again—woke up around 9 AM (studying late at night, so yeah, you get it). Rushed to school, studied… ahh, boards and all that stress. Came back home, and of course, didn’t touch the most loyal task of every student’s life—HOMEWORK. Instead, I worked on my projects. With my English practical and ASL on January 8, I had to get those done. Sometimes I wish I could escape all of this—these studies, the pressure, the never-ending cycle of “do this, do that.” But the harsh truth is, I HAVE TO BE NORMAL. So, I did what had to be done. Went to Economics coaching later in the evening—late again—and somehow ended up half asleep in the class. Found myself on the coaching’s balcony afterward, waiting for my friends to show up so we could study together. Guess what? They didn’t. Wasted a solid 20 minutes doing nothing but staring at the streets below. Coaching ended, got my marks, a...

ctrl + P: Monday and mundane me

Image
Monday/Tuesday, January 6, 2025 3:23 AM Yeah, this is my second blog. So, the day was kinda boring but had its moments. It started with me getting up at 8:40 AM—on a Monday morning when I was supposed to be at school by 8. Couldn’t care less about being late, though. I had to go for file submission, and honestly, I was fine with just showing up whenever. Fast forward to the end of the school day, my friends, their friends, and I ended up clicking pictures with the teachers. Totally unplanned, but it was fun. Small moments like that make the day better. Oh, and about the projects? Yeah, couldn’t submit them. One wasn’t complete, and for the other, the teacher hit me with a “you’re late.” I just left without saying a word—left the door wide open, too. Now, the third lecture? That’s where things got weird. Something happened that tied back to yesterday, but worse. So, a group of girls sitting in the middle row decided it was the perfect time to blast something on their phone at full volum...

Google Aunt, Exams, and Endless Projects

Sun/Mon 5th January 2025, 2:07 am Google Aunt, Exams, and Endless Projects Soo... it's 2025 now, and I'm going to turn 18 in about seven days. My 12th board exams are near, and I’m worried as hell. I’m Rudraksh—my people call me Aksh—and I welcome you to my first blog. Ever had your phone embarrass you in class? Here's how Google Aunt became my class clown.... Morning Chaos The day started with a woeful Sunday because I had two tests—one in Accounts, which sucks, and another in Economics. Although I’ve studied Economics a lot (thanks to Udita di), I was still anxious. Woke up with my phone in one hand, watching "Issue of Debentures One Shot" on YouTube, while sweeping the floor with a broom in the other. Picture this: me in blue shorts on a winter morning, cleaning my room that’s full of books, notes, and my syllabus. Suddenly, I remembered: Tomorrow is Monday, and I have to submit my projects for Accountancy, Economics, and English! Panicking, I hurried to the ba...
